Salsamania is one of Sydney’s longest standing Salsa social events, held every third Saturday of the month, this event is a must-visit for anyone looking to dance non-stop to some of the best salsa music in town.
Entry is just $20 and includes a complimentary salsa class at 7:30 PM, perfect for warming up and meeting fellow dancers. The main social starts at 8:30 PM and runs until 1:00 AM, with DJs spinning an excellent mix of salsa, mambo, and the occasional cha-cha to keep things fresh.
The venue offers plenty of space for dancing, seating areas to rest between songs, and fans to help keep dancers cool throughout the night. La Fiesta is a vibrant Salsa and Bachata social held on the third or fourth Saturday of each month at Sydney Park Pavilion in Alexandria. From 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, this event offers an energetic atmosphere with a carefully curated mix of Salsa and Bachata music, ensuring the perfect vibe for social dancing. The playlist is designed to enhance the experience, making it ideal for both seasoned dancers and those just starting their journey.
The event features a welcoming and lively environment, where you can enjoy great music and connect with others who share your passion for Latin rhythms. La Fiesta’s selection of music is known for its ability to keep the energy flowing throughout the night, creating an unforgettable experience on the dance floor.

Get ready to spice up your Monday nights with Salsa Mondays at Universal, one of Sydney’s best weekly Latin dance events. Held every Monday at Universal on Oxford Street, this is the perfect place to learn, dance, and socialize with fellow salsa lovers.
For just $30, you’ll get access to a salsa class, social dancing, and a house drink to start the night right. Classes run from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, followed by social dancing from 8:30 PM to midnight. If you just want to join the party, entry is only $15, which includes a house drink and access to the social from 8:30 PM onwards.

For just $25, dancers can enjoy a pre-party salsa class at 7:00 PM with the main social dancing party kicks off at 8:00 PM and runs until 2:00 AM, featuring three DJs playing the best in Salsa, Mambo, Cha-Cha, and Bachata.

Salsa Wednesdays at Bungalow 8 is a weekly Latin dance event featuring Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba. Held every Wednesday from 7:30 PM, the night starts with dance classes open to all levels, priced at $10 cash or $11 by card.
After the lessons, social dancing kicks off with Salsa and Bachata downstairs, while the SexyRoom upstairs offers a different vibe. The event runs late with top DJs and guest artists keeping the floor moving.

Every Thursday night, Pontoon Bar hosts a lively Latin dance social in the heart of Darling Harbour, featuring Salsa and Bachata in a vibrant waterfront setting. The evening kicks off with dance lessons for all levels, followed by social dancing into the late hours, with a curated mix of salsa and bachata music to keep you moving.
Best of all, entry is free, and you’ll also enjoy drink specials throughout the night, including $7.50 Coronas. For those looking to refuel, $10 pizzas are available. Rouge Salsa Fridays is a weekly salsa social held at Rouge Bar also in Darling Harbour, offering a lively night of Latin rhythms and stunning city views. The event caters to both experienced dancers and beginners.
The night starts with free entry before 8:30 PM, along with half-price drinks for the first 30 attendees. After 8:30 PM, entry is $10 (cash or PayID only). The event features a high-energy mix of salsa and bachata, with a 2:1 music rotation, and special guest DJs keeping the dance floor active throughout the night.
The venue includes a rooftop terrace overlooking Cockle Bay Wharf, providing an ideal atmosphere for dancing. The event runs until 1 AM. Please note the dress code—no athletic wear, sports shoes, or water bottles—encouraging attendees to dress stylishly for the night.
